May 31st, 2022 – Upswing Solutions Inc. is delighted to announce the appointment of Chloe Barnabe as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO).

Chloe joins Upswing Solutions after having spent 16 years building and leading corporate sustainability teams and strategies for some of Canada’s most recognized brands in the consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, logistics and transportation sectors. Chloe is a responsible business strategist with a successful track record helping large companies become internationally recognized climate action leaders by setting and implementing Net Zero and Science-Based Targets.

As CSO, Chloe will lead the delivery of our Sustainable Business and ESG Advisory services. Over her career, Chloe has developed a deep understanding of evolving environmental, social and governance (ESG) trends and risks in North American, European and East Asian markets and gained first-hand experience operationalizing corporate ESG strategies into successful vendor engagement and ethical supply chain programs. She has worked alongside multistakeholder associations and likeminded businesses to scale social impact and environmental performance.

Chloe is a creative problem-solver who has advised leadership teams on how to futureproof their business by steering them to overhaul corporate policies, upskill their workforce, proactively communicate with key stakeholders, plan transformational decarbonization investments and market sustainable product innovation.

Chloe holds a Master’s of Environment (M.Env) from Sherbrooke University and a B.A. in Environmental Studies & Political Science from McGill. She is fluently bilingual in both French and English.
